    Retail Express is pleased to announce the extension of its Category Management / Merchandise Management solution with the provision of Space Analytics, Sales, Profit, Unit, Margin, GMROI analysis by Store, Store Type, Market, Store Group, Store Size, Store Sq. Ft ( Sq Metres), by Linear Shelf Space, this Year v Last Year with Variances and versus Plan/Budget. The analysis can be accessed by using the Product hierarchy for any location structure i.e. Format by Department, by Category, by Sub-Category, by Items/Family etc or Merchandise Structure if not category orientated business.

    The solution provides ranking, sorting, filtering, column selection and sequencing of all key data metrics, exports to Excel and uses the Vertica analytics platform and Column Database integrated with the real-time RDBMS tables to get both an historical and forward view using both Historical and Predicted forecasts. The functionality is being made available in the Retail Express RE 2.0 Release 4.4.1 and can be licensed with the Category and Merchandise Management modules BUT can also be licensed with the Pricing and Promotion Management solution without the other Category Management functionality.

    Reports and Insights can show Current v Last Year or Current v Plan or Last Year V Plan with Variance for Any Level of the Location and Merchandising Hierarchy for Date Range, or Day, week, Period, Month, Quarter, Year To Date etc., The solution can be provided in a hosted, Cloud or On-premises implementation and is available today with Retail Express RE 2.0 Release 4.4.1
