A word from our team leader

Hi and thanks for taking a look at our fundraising page.

The trailtrekker challenge in aid of Oxfam is a challenging walk through the Yorkshire Dales over the weekend of 1st and 2nd of June 2013. There are three potential distances that can be walked: the bronze level at 40km, silver at 65km and gold at 100km. We’re going to have a go at the 100km – just because there’s no point in doing something if you’re not going to go the distance.

We’re a team of 4 from Retail Express and we’ve tasked ourselves as a group to raise at least £1800. Hopefully we can break this target so I’ve set myself a personal goal of raising £500.

This is something none of us have done before so it’s going to be a real challenge and we’re going to have to get fit! So over the coming months I’ll be posting updates on our progress towards the big day on the teams JustGiving page.

Please donate as much as you’re able to as all of it is going to a good cause.

You can donate and track our progress through the just giving page linked below, so please dig deep and donate now.

    Dave.

    The challenge

Trailtrekker is a 100km trek for teams of four, over 30 hours (yes, that’s day and night!) across the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Around 300 teams take part in the event each year, all raising money to help people in poverty. The route is challenging, and it requires great determination and teamwork. But in return, you’ll get a fantastic sense of achievement and the money you raise will make a real difference.
