    Retail Express is pleased to announce the extension of its Category Management / Merchandise Management solution with a series of cross modules enhancements from the adding off STOCK DATA to the Retail Express Intelligent Merchandising suite of products. The application now supports END OF DAY STOCK BALANCES by ITEM BY STORE OR ECOMMERCE CHANNEL. The end of day STOCK is archived with the Daily Sales data and held for a minimum of two years by day and location. Stock data is NOW available throughout the RE 2.0 Application as an additional attribute in many areas as well as the focus of specific functionality. Look for future announcements of Stock being used in Promotion Optimisation, in the Pricing Rules Engine, in Stock Forecasting & Replenishment, in Sales and Stock Reporting, in Category Management to provide GMROI, in Overstock Reporting, in Stock Valuation, in Out of Stock Reporting, in Lost Sales Analysis etc.,

    The solution can be provide in a hosted, Cloud or On-premises implementation and uses the Retail Express Vertica analytics platform and Column Database integrated with the real-time RDBMS tables. The functionality is being made available in the Retail Express RE 2.0 Release 4.4.1 and can be licensed with the Category and Merchandise Management modules BUT can also be licensed with the Pricing and Promotion Management solution without the other Category Management functionality.
