Barry’s retail career began at Tesco, the UK Supermarket Group, where he held several appointments including Systems Director, Management Services Director and Group CIO. From there he moved to the USA as Executive Vice President of a leading Supply Chain provider to the retail industry worldwide. Barry then established British American Consulting Group, which he ran as Chairman & CEO for 10 years until the business was sold to VC’s; the company had a major share of the Retail ERP market with over 50 leading retailers worldwide. Barry established Retail Express to address the ‘intelligent merchandising’ area to create a solution with the proper mix of science, technology and good retail practice; the result is RE 2.0. Barry is the founding Chairman and CEO of Retail Express. Barry has a Post Graduate Degree in Management Studies, is a Graduate of the Institute of Marketing, Fellow of the Institute of Logistics & Transport and has had his writing on retail and IT published worldwide.
Miguel has held senior management and consultancy roles with high profile retail companies in the UK and abroad. An IT professional with over 20 years experience in retail, he has a proven record in developing and implementing supply chain and merchandising solutions for both Worldwide Chainstore Systems and Tesco Stores. As the Development Director and founding member of BACG, which later became Armature, Miguel was responsible for the development methodology and technical direction of their retail solutions. Later, as Vice President of Product Management he defined the functional direction of the software. In 1999 he helped to form retailing.net, a subsidiary of Armature created to provide supply and demand solutions to multi-channel retailers. Now at Retail Express, Miguel brings his skills to the role of Account Director helping our UK and European clients make effective use of the Retail Express Products and services.
Juliet joined Retail Express at its inception having worked in the retail software industry for over 20 years. She has specialized in developing merchandising solutions, starting at ASDA and then later at BACG and Armature where she became Product Manager for the Pricing and Assortment solutions. Juliet is now VP of Product Management at Retail Express, responsible for the functional direction and detailed behavior of the RE2.0 product.
With a Bachelors’ Degree in Physics & Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, David now has over 25 years experience in the software sector working in a variety of industries including Banking, Life Insurance, Manufacturing, Health and Retail. He has a strong track record of delivering high performance, scalable and resilient solutions in areas such as credit card transaction processing, ERP systems and predictive analytics. As Vice President of Analytics at Retail Express he has been responsible for the analytics capabilities within the RE2.0 product, delivering major benefits to our customers.
